UPM ProFi Deck is design favourite for Londons Clerkenwell Design Week

(UPM ProFi, Lahti, 18 May 2012) – UPM ProFi Deck has been chosen for one of London’s leading design festivals, the Clerkenwell Design Week 2012.

The annual festival is held across several venues in London’s fashionable Clerkenwell area. UPM ProFi Deck was chosen as the flooring for the design café at the Farmiloe Building. Clerkenwell Design Week is a three-day annual festival celebrating design’s creative richness, its social impact and its power for change. Run in partnership by Media 10 and Mix Media Ltd, the event has been established to celebrate Clerkenwell as the heart of the design industry.

Leading designs and brands such as Vitra, Jaguar, Ligne Roset and Anglepoise exhibited at the event. UPM ProFi Deck in Night Sky Black with a Snow Blue edging was used for the café area in the courtyard of the Farmiloe Building – a former lead and glassworks.

Peter Stewart, International Sales Manager for UPM ProFi said: “Clerkenwell Design Week has built a solid reputation as a focus of design and new products. UPM ProFi Deck complimented the design aspect of the event with its innovative design and sustainable credentials.”
